OK, the whole "no carb" thing is a challenge I've yet to rise to. It's a BIG part of my diet, and even tho' I reduced the overall amount during the week, I did in fact in carbs every day and every evening.
So... my week 2 diet goal will be to also include week 1's. Maybe tough, as I'm on the road every day next week - Vancouver and Idaho.
You won't have much of a choice once we get our assigned diets. It's gets easier to let go of carbs though. I didn't miss them tonight as I replaced them with some roasted butternut squash, which is a hearty veggie. Ah, winter squash season. :)
ReplyDeleteah - good tip, Jen. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteJust got the diet. Yes, I can see I'll be letting go of things...
Seriously, you won't miss the carbs! The slow and steady burn you get from 6 meals a day of fruit and veggies will keep you much more energized than the peaks and valleys of carbo-loading.
ReplyDeleteYou're going to be ok MBS! Give it a few weeks and what you miss now will probably repel you.
